FESTIVALS

The 21st SummerGrass Bluegrass Festival will be held in Vista, California at the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum,  2040 North Santa Fe Avenue, Vista, CA. There's room for your RV or tent and lots of music, jamming, free"learn-to-play" the ukulele lessons, pie contests, and much more! Performers include John Moore & Friends, Special Consensus, Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road, and many more!

The Huck Finn Jubilee promises to be jam-packed with  traditional and progressive Bluegrass, Americana and Acoustic music,  craft beer, delicious food from Southern California’s best vendors,  artisanal goods for sale, and many opportunities to create joy, art, and  music with Huckers of all ages. This year will be hosted at Bonelli  Bluffs RV Resort & Campgrounds in San Dimas, CA after relocating to  this venue in 2022.

Not just for fiddlers! Tickets will be on sale soon for the 52nd Santa Barbara Old-Time Fiddlers' Festival on Saturday October 5th in Goleta. In addition to concerts and workshops, there is also a contest! More information will be available closer to the festival.  Scheduled performers include Bosco (Japan), Spencer & Rains, Jimmy Triplett, Scott Prouty, SLO County Stumblers, Ruth Alpert, Joe Wack, Andy Denes, and Pat Mac Swyney. 

South State 48, Volume 4 is going to take place over the Veteran's Day Weekend.  There are a few reservations left at the hotel, but they're going quickly.  The weekend includes lots of jamming, workshops, concerts, and a few surprise events.  You can just come for the day.  It's free!

Northern California meets Southern California at the Great 48 Jam.  Get ready for 72 hours of non-stop jamming, concerts, workshops and fun at the Bakersfield Marriott. You don't need to be a picker --- grinners have just as much fun! And most of the events are free!
