VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Are you going to Summergrass? The festival is August 16-18 in Vista, near San Diego.  We are looking for volunteers to staff the CBA table.  It's a very tough job --- jamming, talking with people about bluegrass. Contact phoebe@californiabluegrass.net

Are you going to the South State 48, which is being held November 8-11 in Carlsbad?  We need to staff the Information Booth, the Merchandise Booth and the Beer and Wine Booth. We also need people to set up and tear down.  It should be a lot of fun! Contact phoebe@californiabluegrass.net if you would like to help. 

Are you going to the Great 48, which is held in Bakersfield during one of the first weekends in January?  We need you to help us staff the Welcome Table.  Greet people as they come to the event.  Contact phoebe@californiabluegrass.net if you would like to help out. 

The California Bluegrass Association puts on the Father's Day Bluegrass Festival every June in Grass Valley. 2025 will be our 50th year.  Volunteers put on the festival, doing everything from driving "taxis" to preparing meals to helping kids with crafts to checking wristbands at the gates.  It's a great deal!  In exchange for 12-16 hours, you get a free festival pass, which includes dry camping.  Plus a cool t-shirt, snacks and other perks.  You're a bluegrass VIP.  You can fill out a registration form at https://www.volgistics.com/appform/644550295
